CastAlum featured on Swarf & Chips

We were thrilled to welcome Joe Reynolds and the team from MTD CNC to CastAlum to be featured on Swarf & Chips to discuss how collaboration, innovation and technology have helped us secure more business.

This was an opportunity to showcase how our investment in new technology and innovation has been a game-changer for us. Additive manufacturing has been one of the key areas of focus for us, and we have made significant investments in this field.

Additive Manufacturing in Die Casting

Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is a process that allows the creation of three-dimensional objects from a digital design. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the manufacturing industry by offering more efficient and cost-effective ways of producing parts and components.

At CastAlum, we have used additive manufacturing to create innovative cooling solutions for our clients. We have developed a range of heat exchangers and oil coolers that are designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. Our additive manufacturing facility has allowed us to create complex designs that would be impossible to produce using traditional manufacturing methods.

Our investment in additive manufacturing has also helped us to streamline our production process, reducing lead times and costs while maintaining high-quality standards. We have been able to create prototypes and test products more quickly, allowing us to bring new products to market faster and more efficiently.

The future of die casting in the UK

During our discussions with MTD CNC, we also talked about the outlook of UK manufacturing. The industry is facing many challenges, including the uncertainty caused by Brexit and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we remain optimistic about the future of the industry, and we believe that by investing in new technologies and collaborating with other industry players, we can overcome these challenges and continue to grow.

Being featured on Swarf & Chips was a great opportunity to showcase our commitment to innovation and technology. We believe that by staying ahead of the curve and investing in new solutions, we can continue to offer the very best in high pressure die casting, squeeze casting, and high volume machining.
